Charco Rendondo

The Charco Redondo oil field in Zapata County, Texas, is a shallow crude oil reservoir that makes a prime target for an enhanced oil recovery project because of its high porosity, permeability and attractive sweet crude oil saturation. Experts from International Reservoir Technologies of Denver, Colorado, have calculated the original oil in place at the site as 23 million barrels, 55 percent of which should be recoverable utilizing EORTech.

Completing the project at Charco Redondo is an opportunity for investors to take advantage of a completely new generation of enhanced oil recovery technology, EORTech. Synthetic Energy Corporation has the plans, the equipment and the exclusive rights to utilize its proprietary EORTech technology at Charco Redondo, which it fully owns. It has far more expertise in the enhanced oil recovery field than any comparable group of contractors, and will do all the mining, drilling and completion work, resulting in a more profitable exploitation.

Synthetic anticipates that aggressive acquisition of additional abandoned reservoirs would follow closely with the financing and completion of the Charco Redondo development. Preliminary studies have been conducted to identify additional targets for EORTech exploitation.
